About Portiz
We are Port & Industry Zeeland (Portiz). The association of industrial, logistics and port companies in Zeeland. We are committed to representing the economic, social and societal interests of the port business community. We do this for the business community in general and its affiliated members. In particular in the Sloe area, the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Canal Zone and adjacent areas in Zeeland and the Zeeland part of the North Sea Port region.

The port industry in Zeeland is of high-quality, diverse and innovative. It forms the economic backbone of our region. Our location in a dynamic region, which as a central delta is closely linked to the surrounding regions, plays an important role in the competitive position of companies in Zeeland. They make an important contribution to regional employment and prosperity.
Keep connecting
As Portiz, we are the point of contact and advocate for industrial and port-related businesses in Zeeland. We maintain close contacts with the important stakeholders in the region. We also act as a network organisation that stimulates and facilitates the connection between companies in the port area. We believe in the power of cooperation and actively work to strengthen ties between our 33 member companies. We do this together with board members from the member companies affiliated to Portiz.
Stronger together
At Portiz, we value cooperation within the cross-border North Sea Port district. We play a coordinating role in the cross-border consultation - the Business Advisory Board (BAB) - in which we work together with North Sea Port and the Flemish entrepreneurs' association VOKA-VeGHO. In addition, Portiz facilitates an active HRM group, which includes HR managers from major employers in Zeeland.
Our objectives:
- To proactively represent the joint interests of member companies.
- Improving the business climate for Zeeland's ports and port-related industries.
- Promoting political and social support for industrial activities in Zeeland's port areas.
- The sustainable development of Zeeland's port-bound companies.
- Strengthening cross-border cooperation between Zeeland and Flanders.

Mission - Our mission is clear and focuses on representing the interests of industrial and port logistics companies in Zeeland. We strive for a beneficial and sustainable business climate in which our members can prosper and make a significant contribution to both the regional and national economy.
Vision - Our vision is that by 2030, our member companies will collectively form an industrial and maritime cluster that has made significant steps in terms of sustainability towards climate neutrality. We aim for our sector to become, more than ever before, the economic engine of Zeeland.
